Arts-based community development projects that use art to knit together existing creative assets in the Central, Powderhorn, Bancroft, and Bryant communities to build a framework for the ongoing support of a vibrant community. Visit Chicago Avenue from 32nd to 42nd Street to view some of the work, including Arts on Chicago projects and the Art in Commons studio in Pillsbury House + Theatre’s lobby.

Please note: Our neighborhood centers are closed until further notice as we respond to the multiple crises impacting our communities. Food assistance is still available through our food shelves and community cafés. Many other programs and services are continuing on a remote and/or socially distanced basis.
